The thoughts and words we use are powerful creating tools and most of the time we are letting our mind and mouth ramble on about nothing good. Complaining about anything is a colossal waste because it is only adding negativity to your life.

Create a dialog that supports the life you want and make sure it is in the present tense. “I am successful” vs “I will be successful” because if you put it in the future as “I will be…”  you will always be chasing after that which you want. Whatever follows the words “I am” and “I can” are very powerful words to use.

Here is something I have done for years that I learned from Tony Robbins in one of his books. Create a mantra that you can use while aerobic exercising. So, while I am on the treadmill or outside walking, I say to myself or even better out loud while in the rhythm “Everyday in every way my life gets better and better.” I repeat this several times. I have been doing this for years and it just gets my mind going in a positive direction.

Another mantra I use inspired by Tony is “I am so happy and grateful that God’s wealth is circulating in my life. His love flows to me in avalanches of abundance. All my dreams, goals and desires are met instantaneously by infinite intelligence because I am one with God and God is everything.” And then I imagine all the wonderful things in my life and feel grateful. Gratitude is key.

When you say these words over and over again with conviction and belief, I am telling you it makes you feel so good. You train your brain to focus on positive thoughts that will take you to higher ground rather than to allow your brain to drift randomly with no intention.

After I wrote and published my first book in 2012, I created a mantra for myself. While exercising I say, “My book is creating a buzz and people are talking, I am a best-selling author.” And guess what, eight years later I published my second book, and it is an international best-seller! Is that a coincidence? I think not and I am still chanting that on a regular basis.

Another great mantra I adopted from a book by Charles Haanel is a really good one for someone who might not know exactly what they want. This is really something anyone can gain from. It goes like this:

“I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy.”

Let me share with you that when you repeat these words with emotion over and over again you gain a powerful feeling of strength and before you know it you are feeling invincible.

Create a word track that supports the life you desire. Keep it simple and make it like a frame for the picture you want to create in your life. Repeat it often and get your emotions behind the words. What happens is your energy gets you going in the right directions and once you really start to believe the words in your mantra, there is no stopping you.

There is power in word tracks and mantras that you repeat over and over again. You not only let your brain know what you want but you also synergize your energetic body with your physical body, so all is operating together.

Train your brain to think the thoughts that support the life you want. Then speak it into existence! Talk about what you dream of. Talk about the goals you have set, maybe not with the whole world if you are a private person but at least with a few trusted family members or friends. Put your life energy to work for you.

Then stay as positive as you can be. Focus on where you want to go but be happy in the present moment. Be grateful for what is today, no matter what you are dealing with.

My hope is that you find these tools beneficial. These habits have created who I am today and I am so very grateful to be able to share them with you.
